Blessed Virgin began appearing and communicating to six visionaries
in the village of Medjugorje in Bosnia / Herzegovina. Since
the apparitions began in 1981, millions of people of all faiths

Highlights
Apparition Hill - the place of our Lady's first appearances
to six children in 1981.
Cross
Mountain - place of a crucifix marking 1900 years since
the birth of Jesus. Our Lady said in one apparition that "great
graces are granted when we pray in front of it". Also,
the Stations of the Cross are visited by many pilgrims.
St.
James Catholic Church - the local parish church where
mass and reconciliation are available daily. Some masses are
in Croatian, but there is also a mass in Polish.
Meetings
with visionaries - some of the visionaries make themselves
available for meetings with pilgrims. Visit Father Zovko in
the Monastery in Siroki Brjeg.
Bonus
Feature- on the last day, transfer by private motor coach
to Dubrovnik, called the Pearl of the Adriatic. Dubrovnik
is surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and sits atop a
rocky peninsula, which juts into the sparkling blue Adriatic
Sea. In the afternoon, sightseeing in Dubrovnik. Overnight
accommodation in Hotel Adriatic in Dubrovnik.
According
to the testimony of the six young parishioners, the Blessed
Virgin Mary has been appearing daily in the parish of Medjugorje
since June 24th, 1981.

God. They become witnesses of truth, love and peace.
Day
1 - Depart Canada / Rome
Our
pilgrimage begins as we depart Canada on our transatlantic
flight to Rome. Dinner and Breakfast will be served in-flight.
Day
2 - Rome / Dubrovnik
Medjugorje
Upon
early morning arrival in the ETERNAL CITY, we will be met
by our local English speaking guide and begin with a conducted
tour of St. Peter's Basilica & the ancient Colosseum.
Late afternoon we will take a short flight from Rome to Dubrovnik
on Croatian Airlines, where our guide and motor coach will
be waiting for us. After a 3-hour drive to Medjugorje, we
will arrive for dinner with our host family located just behind
the St. James Church. A 5-minute peaceful walk through the
fields. Dinner and overnight in Medjugorje.
Day
3 to 6 - Medjugorje
Each
morning after breakfast, we will attend HOLY MASS in ENGLISH
at 10 am. Then we will meet with our guide and be introduced
to the visionaries for a talk and question time. We will climb
Apparition Hill (Podbrdo), saying the Rosary as we pass the
5 sorrowful and the 5 joyful mysteries, culminating in prayer
and meditation at the most peaceful place in the whole world
where Our Blessed Mother first appeared to the children. We
will also climb the difficult & steep hill of Cross Mountain
(Krizevac), via the Way of The Cross in Reparation for the
sins of the World, arriving at the top in total exhilaration.
Some days we will gather together in St. James Church for
a talk by one of the priests from Medjugorje. Additionally
we will take a 1-2 day excursion to the Franciscan Monastery
at Siroki Brieg for a talk and healing service conducted by
Fr. Jozo Zovko, considered by many to be one of the highlights
of the pilgrimage. Or maybe even an attendance at a Private
Apparition in the Choir Loft, with one or more of the visionaries,
during the time when recitation of the rosary and confessions
are taking place. Dinner and overnight in Medjugorje.
Day
7 - Dubrovnik
Today
we say good-bye to our families, and take the 3 hour bus ride
to Dubrovnik, the spectacular walled resort sitting on the
Adriatic. We will take a walking tour of this beautiful town,
visiting the Basilica of St. Blaise, and the Franciscan Monastery.
Dinner and overnight in Dubrovnik.

8 - Dubrovnik / Canada
Fly
home to Canada.

Day
8 Dubrovnik / Rome
We
depart mid-afternoon and we board our flight to Rome. On arrival
in Italy we will be transferred to our Hotel for overnight
stay.
Day
9 & 10 - Rome / San Giovanni
This morning we will attend Holy Mass at the Vatican and
then depart for San Giovanni where Padre Pio lived for 50
years from 1918 to 1968, as a capuchin at the Monastery of
Our Lady Grace. Two night stay with dinner.
Day
11 - San Giovanni Rotondo
Morning
Holy Mass at the Church of Maria Delle Grazie, then we pay
a visit to the tomb of the Capuchin Monk blessed with the
Stigmata for 50 years, and who possessed extraordinary spiritual
gifts including that of Bilocution (being in two places at
the same time) He was attacked with great ferocity both spiritually
and physically by the devil. Free afternoon. Dinner and overnight
in San Giovanni Rotondo.
Day
12 - San Giovanni / Rome
This
morning we will ascend Monte Sant'Angelo and visit the Grotto
of St. Michael the Archangel, a celebrated shrine of Christianity,
then we return back to Rome for our dinner and overnight stay.
Day
13 - Rome
Tour
St. Peter's, the Vatican museums and the Sistine Chapel. Afternoon
free for personal time or take an optional tour of ancient
Rome. Dinner and overnight in Rome.
Day
14 - Depart Rome / Canada
Early
morning breakfast before being transferred to airport for
our flight back to Canada.
