Day 1 – May 18

Afternoon departure from Toronto to Lisbon.

Day 2 – May 19

Morning arrival in Lisbon. Transfer to our hotel in Fatima, some time for rest, Mass, dinner, rosary procession and overnight.

Day 3 – May 20

Full day in Fatima. Mass, visit the site of apparitions, the old and the new basilica. We also visit the houses of the children, have some free time for individual prayers, dinner, procession with candles and overnight.

Day 4 – May 21

Today we cross the border to Spain and travel to Seville. En route we stop in Santarem and visit the Church of the Holy Miracle, home to a 13th-century Eucharistic miracle. Upon arrival in Seville dinner and overnight.

Day 5 – May 22

Seville is the capital of the province of Andalusia and a city from which Christopher Columbus embarked on his journey to discover America. Our morning tour of Seville takes us to the Bell Tower of the Giralda and the Cathedral with the tomb of C. Columbus. Afternoon we travel to Cordoba for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 – May 23

This morning we have a tour of Cordoba visiting Moorish Basilica, Roman bridge and Calleja de las Flores. Afternoon continue to Granada where we visit Alhambra – a spectacular palace from Moorish times. Dinner and overnight in Granada.

Day 7 – May 24

Today we travel to Madrid, capital city of Spain. En route we stop in Toledo. Situated on a granite hill surrounded on three sides by river Tagus, the ancient capital of Castille attracts more visitors than any other Spanish town. We visit the Moorish bridge and 13th century Cathedral, where we celebrate Mass. Continue to Madrid for dinner and overnight.

Day 8 – May 25

Morning sightseeing tour of Madrid takes us to Puerta del Sol, Plaza Espana with its monument to Cervantes, Celebes fountain, elegant Calla Alcala and Paseo Castellana. We view the Royal Palace and visit recently completed Cathedral. Afternoon some free time for leisure. Evening dinner with a flamenco dance performance. Dinner and overnight.

Day 9 – May 26

Today we travel to Lleida. En route we stop in Zaragoza where we visit the Basilica dedicated to Our Lady Of The Pillar and celebrate Mass. Upon arrival in Lleida some free time, dinner and overnight.

Day 10 – May 27

After breakfast we tour Lleida visiting Seu Vella, a cathedral-fortress built on top of Turó de la Seu, a hill that overlooks the town. We also see Sue Nova, the baroque cathedral. After lunch continue to Barcelona for dinner and overnight.

Day 11 – May 28

Full day in Barcelona. In the morning we the visit enchanting Benedictine monastery in Montserrat and the Black Madonna of Montserrat. After lunch our tour of Barcelona features the Columbus Monument, elegant tree lined “Ramblas” and Plaza de Catalonia, Paseo de Gracia, the famous church of Sagrada Familia and the Cathedral of Santa Eulalia. Return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 12 – May 29

After breakfast we are transferred to the airport for a flight to Toronto. Afternoon arrival.
