Day 1 – May 17

Evening departure from Toronto to Vilnius via Frankfurt.

Day 2 – May 18

Early afternoon arrival in Vilnius, the capital city of Lithuania. Transfer to hotel for overnight. Dinner in hotel. For those interested an optional tour to the Hill of the Crosses, pilgrimage site with over 100,000 crosses brought by devoted pilgrims.

Day 3 – May 19

Full day in beautiful Vilnius. We visit the Old Town, Gediminias Castle, Cathedral, The Gates of Dawn, world famous and the most visited shrine in Vilnius, containing the painting of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Mercy. Continue to the Holy Trinity Church, dedicated to Divine Mercy and St. Faustina Kowalska, where the original image of the Divine Mercy Jesus is located, where we celebrate Mass. Overnight. (B, D)

Day 4 – May 20

Today we travel to Bialystok in Poland. En route we stop in Sokolka where we visit the Eucharistic Miracle Church and celebrate Mass. Upon arrival in Bialystok dinner and overnight. (B,D)

Day 5 – May 21

This morning we visit some places related to Bl. Michał Sopoćko, the spiritual director of St. Faustina and first promoter of the Divine Mercy message. We celebrate Mass in Divine Mercy Sanctuary, where his remains and relics are housed. Continue to Warsaw for dinner and overnight. (B, D)

Day 6 – May 22

This morning we embark on a sightseeing tour of Warsaw that includes St. Stanislaus Kostka church, commemorating martyrdom of Bl. Jerzy Popieluszko, the Old Town, the Royal Palace and Barbican. Afternoon continue to Niepokalanow, where St. Maximilian Kolbe built a ministry center dedicated to the Blessed Lady. On to Plock, the place where St. Faustina received the private vision of the image of Jesus the Divine Mercy. We celebrate Mass in the Shrine of The Divine Mercy. Overnight. (B,D)

Day 7 – May 23

After breakfast we travel to Lodz, a city where St. Faustina received the first vision of Christ calling her to dedicate her life to Him and enter a convent. En route we stop in Swinice Warckie where we visit St. Faustina birth place and a church turned Basilica, where she was baptized and where we celebrate Mass. Continue to Lodz to visit the Cathedral, the city park, and for overnight (B,D)

Day 8 – May 24

Morning departure to Krakow. En route we stop in Czestochowa – the site of Poland’s greatest shrine and pilgrimage destination – Our Lady of Czestochowa, also known as the “Black Madonna”. We venerate the priceless and miraculous icon and celebrate Mass. Continue to Auschwitz, the notorious Nazi concentration and extermination camp. We visit a cell in which St. Maximilian Kolbe was martyred and also the Martyrdom Museum recalling the horrors of the Holocaust. Overnight in Krakow. (B, D)

Day 9 – May 25

Today we visit Lagiewniki – world-known as “Divine Mercy Shrine”. This is where St. Faustina had had numerous visions of Christ, during which He spoke to her of the Divine Mercy. We visit the convent of St. Faustina, her tomb and relics and celebrate Mass. We also visit St. John Paul II Center commemorating Pope who led the Catholic Church into its third millennium and made an lasting mark on the world. Continue to Krakow’s Old Town. We visit the Market Square, St. Mary’s church and its Gothic masterpiece altar by Veit Stoss, majestic Wawel Royal Castle and the Cathedral. Overnight in Krakow (B).

Day 10 – May 26

This morning we visit the world-famous salt mines in Wieliczka. Our next stop is Wadowice, where St. John Paul II was born in 1920. Return to Krakow for some free time and overnight (B).

Day 11 – May 27

After breakfast we are transferred to the airport for a flight to Toronto. Evening arrival. (B)


Day 12 – May 27

Today we travel to Mysliborz in northwestern Poland. En route we stop in Legnica at a site of recent Eucharistic miracle. Continue to Swiebodzin (time permiting) to see renowned tallest in Europe Statue of Christ the King. Dinner and overnight in Mysliborz, home to the first monastery of the Congregation of Sisters of Merciful Jesus and a sanctuary of the Divine Mercy.(B,D)

Day 13 – May 28

Morning Mass at the Sanctuary and some free time for prayer. Departure to Berlin for afternoon arrival (B,D)

Day 14 – May 29

Full day in Berlin. Our sightseeing tour will include views of Reichstag (parliament), Brandenburg Gate, elegant Under den Linden boulevard and the Memorial of the Berlin Wall. Some free time and overnight. (B)

Day 15 – May 30

Early morning transfer to the airport for a return flight to Toronto. Afternoon arrival.
