Day 1 – Monday April 27
TORONTO / NEW YORK (JFK)

Departure from Toronto (Terminal 3)
with El Al Israel Airlines fl ying non-stop to Tel Aviv at 4:45pm.
Departure from JFK (New York)
with El Al Israel Airlines fl ying non-stop to Tel Aviv at 8:50pm

Day 2 – Tuesday, April 28
TEL AVIV

Arrive into Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv at 10:15am (from Toronto) and
2:20pm (from JFK) where our tour guide & bus driver will meet you. Transfer to your hotel in Tel Aviv. Then it’s an evening of celebrating Yom Ha’Atzmaut Israel’s Independence Day!
Dinner and overnight at the Metropolitan Hotel, Tel Aviv

Day 3– Wednesday, April 29
CAESAREA / HAIFA / MOSHAV NAHALAL

After breakfast drive to the Leket Israel Logistic Center in Rananna. Leket is biblical – it’s what Ruth did in the fi elds of Boaz. We will see fi rsthand the operations of the world’s largest food redistribution organization for the needy. Drive to Caesarea: capital of Judea under the Romans and home of Pontius Pilate and Cornelius.
Continue to Haifa and Mt Carmel to the grave site George “Buzz” Beurling, a Christian and Second World War fl ying ace. He lost his life in a crash while attempting to deliver an aircraft to Israel which was fi ghting for its Independence.
Continue to Nahalal to volunteer for Leket Israel gleaning fruits and vegetables at our northern farm. Leket Israel recruits over 50,000 volunteers each year in the rescue of millions of pounds of agricultural crops that are otherwise left to rot at the end of each season.
Drive to Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee.
Dinner and overnight at Kibbutz Nof Ginossar on the Sea of Galilee in deluxe rooms

Day 4 –Thursday, April 30
JESUS’ MINISTRY IN THE GALILEE

Visit the Yigal Alon Museum. Home of the 2,000 year-old Galilee Boat, known as the Jesus Boat that sailed the Sea of the Galilee in the fi rst century, during the time period of Jesus. 
Visit Capernaum, the center of Jesus’ Galilean ministry and site of many of his miracles. Drive to the Mt. of Beatitudes where Jesus delivered what is perhaps the most famous sermon ever preached- “The Sermon on the Mount”.
Visit Tel Dan which is the most northern border in the ancient Kingdom of Israel. Continue to the Golan Heights so see the former Syrian bunkers from the Yom Kippur War. Then on to Caesarea Philipi.
We arrive back to the Kibbutz
Dinner and overnight at Kibbutz Nof Ginossar on the Sea of Galilee in deluxe rooms

Day 5 – Friday, May 1
GALILEE / JERUSALEM

Travel to the Baptismal site on the Jordan River, Yardanit. Unfortunately we have to say goodbye to the beautiful Galilee as we begin to travel south through the Jordan Valley to the region of the Dead Sea. We will stop at Qumran, home of the Dead Sea Scrolls. It is likely that John the Baptist spent some time here.
Continue to the spectacular city of Jerusalem where we will keep the ancient tradition of entering Jerusalem as a pilgrim. Experience a Shabbat (The Sabbath) meal the way Jesus would have – Led by David Nekrutman of Center for Jewish-Christian Understanding & Cooperation.

Day 6 – Saturday, May 2
MASADA / DEAD SEA / EIN GEDI

After breakfast we celebrate the awesomeness of God and the reverence of His word with Jewish worshippers at the Great Synagogue of Jerusalem.
We drive to the lowest point on earth; the Dead Sea which is over 1300 feet below sea level. Then drive south to Masada. Here you will take a cable car to the summit of this magnifi cent fortress built by King Herod the Great and the last stronghold of the Roman Empire by the Jewish Zealots.
After descending this mountain by cable car we travel to the shores of the Dead Sea where we will have time to take a fl oat in the saltiest body of water in world. We will come back home looking 15 years younger! Then we will visit the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve and see the waterfalls in the middle of this oasis in the desert and see caves where David hid from King Saul. Return to Jerusalem.

Day 7 – Sunday, May 3
JERUSALEM

“If I forget you, O’Jerusalem, Let my right hand forget its skill” (Psalm 137:5) We will to the Mount of Olives for a magnifi cent panoramic view of the Old City. Visit Emek Zurim where you will have a chance to experience an archaeological dig near the Temple Mount by sifting through dirt in search of artifacts from the time of the Second Temple Period. Enter the old city to the Kotel, the Western Wall which is the remnant of the outer courtyard of Herod’s Temple. We will visit the Western Wall Tunnels.
Visit Ammunition Hill where an important battle took place during the Six Day War in 1967 against the Jordanian Army.

Day 8 – Monday, May 4
JERUSALEM

We start the day at Yad Vashem, Israel’s memorial to the Holocaust commemorating the six million Jews who perished in Hitler’s Europe. Experience the Holocaust through the Jewish eyes.
Then we proceed to the Israel Museum and visit the Shrine of the Book housing the Dead Sea Scrolls, the oldest manuscripts of the Bible ever found. Visit the model of Jerusalem from the Second Temple Period as it looked from the time of Jesus. Visit the Bible Land Museum.
Then we have a special visit with the Knesset (Israel’s Parliament) Christian Allies Caucus at the Shalom Yerushalayim Visitors Center which strives to engage Christians around world of the Biblical signifi cance of Jerusalem, and the important issues that tie us together as Christians and Jews. Continue to the Garden Tomb for worship and private communion service.

Day 9 – Tuesday, May 5
JERUSALEM

Today is a free day in Jerusalem to enjoy last minute shopping in downtown Jerusalem or the Old City Bazaars.

TORONTO / NEW YORK (JFK)

Toronto Passengers: Depart Tel Aviv on your non-stop fl ight on El Al Israel Airlines departing at 10:15am and arriving in Toronto at 4:50pm at terminal 3. New York Passengers: Depart Tel Aviv on your non-stop fl ight on El Al Israel Airlines departing at 1:30pm and arriving in JFK (New York) at 6:20pm.
