Day 1 - Sunday
Depart Toronto to Tel Aviv on Lufthansa at 8:20pm flying to Munich arriving the next day at 10:10am.
Day 2 - Monday
Depart Munich on Lufthansa at 11:25am and arriving in Tel Aviv at 4:05pm where we will be met by our tour guide and driver.
Transfer to Tel Aviv for check-in at the Dan Panorama Hotel for dinner and overnight.
JAFFA, CAESAREA, MT. CARMEL, MEGIDDO
Day 3 - Tuesday
We start the day at Jaffa that affords us a breathtaking view of the city of Tel Aviv. At this picturesque port city of winding alleys, art galleries and crafts boutiques, King Solomon had the cedars of Lebanon rafted for the building of the First Temple in Jerusalem. You will view the spot of the House of Simon the Tanner. We depart north along the Mediterranean to Caesarea the incredible fortress city built by King Herod the Great. Here, Pontius Pilate had his base; where Cornelius lived and was baptized (Acts 10); where Paul embarked to Tarsus (Acts 9:30) and where Philip preached (Acts 8:40). Visit the Roman Theatre, the Hippodrome, the Crusader City. We then travel north towards Haifa and ascend Mt. Carmel the site where the prophet Elijah fought the 400 false prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18:30). We will stop for an incredible panoramic view of Haifa and the Bahai Gardens and visit the Carmelite Monastery. We turn inland and proceed to Megiddo, one of King Solomon’s walled fortified cities (1 Kings 9:15; 10:26), with ruins of 20 levels of civilization. From here the Books of Daniel and Revelation will come alive as we read about the final Battle of Armageddon, while viewing the Plains of Jezreel. Continue to Tiberias and the Sea of Galilee. Dinner and overnight at Lake House Hotel in Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee
JESUS MINISTRY IN THE GALILEE
Day 4 - Wednesday
After breakfast, we will depart our day with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee to Kibbutz Ginossar where we view an ancient boat from the time of Jesus that was discovered in the Sea of Galilee. Continue to Capernaum, the centre of Jesus’ Galilean ministry and the site of many of his miracles (Mark 2:4; Matt.8:5; 14-7; 9; 1-7; 17:18). We will see the remains of Peter’s house and the synagogue site where Jesus taught and worshipped (Mark 1:21; Luke 4:31). Continue to the Church of Primacy for a visit before continuing to Tabgha and visit the Church of the Multiplication of Loaves and Fishes. Continue to the Mt. of Beatitudes where Jesus delivered what is perhaps the most famous sermon ever preached – “The Sermon On The Mount” (Matt.5). We will then proceed to the site of the city of Korazim where there are the remains of a First Century Synagogue where Jesus frequently ministered. We will drive north of the Golan Heights and visit Banias, one of the sources of the Jordan River and the site of ancient “Caesarea Philipi”, where Peter made the confession of faith in Christ (Matt; 16:16). Return to Tiberias via the east side of the Sea of Galilee stopping at Kursi to see the place where the demons entered the swine and entered the Sea of Galilee.

ROAD TO JERUSALEM
Day 5 - Thursday
Start the day with a drive to Cana of Galilee the site of the first miracle of Jesus and visit the Church of the Wedding. We proceed to Nazareth, the boyhood town of Jesus and visit the Church of the Annunciation and St. Joseph’s Church. Drive to Mt. Tabor and take taxis to the Mount and visit the Basilica of the Transfiguration and view the magnificent Valley of Armageddon from above. We continue southward to Beit Shean, where we will walk through the incredible excavations of the largest ongoing archaeological dig in the land of Israel with its Roman theatre, colonnaded Roman streets, mosaics and Roman bathhouses. It is also the city where the body of King Saul and his sons where nailed to the walls by the Philistines (1 Samuel 31:10). We then drive through the lush Jordan Valley, where the desert now blooms with flowers and vegetation of every description (Isaiah 35:1-2). Ascend up the Judean Wilderness to the Golden City of Jerusalem.

Day 6 - Friday
Drive to the top of the Mt. of Olives, for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. Visit the Chapel of the Ascension and the Pater Noster Church the place where Jesus taught the Lord’s prayer to his disciples. Tracing the footsteps of Jesus, we will stroll down the Palm Sunday Route on the Mount of Olives to the Dominus Flevit Church and continue to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations. From here drive across the Kidron Valley, past the ancient Jewish Tombs to Mt Zion. Visit the traditional site of the Upper Room (Room of the Last Supper), King David’s Tomb. Continue to the Church of St. Peter’s in Gallicantu, built on top of the High Priest Caiphas’ house. Enter into the dungeon where Jesus spent hours before being sent to Pontius Pilate. Davidson Centre and visit the archaeological park of the excavations along the Western and Southern Walls of the Temple Mount of Jerusalem. We continue to the City of David and see the new excavations and the Pool of Siloam and Hezekiah’s Tunnel. Dinner and overnight at the Ramada Hotel, Jerusalem
Day 7 - Saturday
We enter the Old City of Jerusalem through the Armenian Quarter to the Jewish Quarter. Walk along the Roman/Byzantine Street called the “Cardo” to the Western Wall, Judaism’s holiest spot for a visit. Continue to the Pools of Bethesda, St. Anne’s Church, Chapel of the Flagellation and Pilate’s Judgment Hall. Continue through the Stations of the Cross to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre for a visit. Walk through the Old City alleyways and exit from the Jaffa Gate where our bus will be waiting for us. Continue to the Israel Museum and visit the Shrine of the Book housing the Dead Sea Scrolls, the oldest manuscripts of the Bible ever found. Visit the model of Jerusalem from the Second Temple Period as it looked from the time of Jesus. We drive south from Jerusalem to Bethlehem for a visit to the oldest church in the world, the Church of Nativity, the birthplace of Jesus. Return to Jerusalem and to finish the day. Dinner and overnight at the Ramada Hotel, Jerusalem.
QUMRAN, DEAD SEA, MASADA, EILAT
Day 8 - Sunday
Depart Jerusalem to the shores of the Dead Sea via Qumran where a young shepherd boy discovered the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1947. These scrolls are the oldest scriptures of the Bible ever found. Drive to Masada and take the cable car to the summit of this magnificent fortress built by King Herod the Great and the last stronghold of the Jewish Zealots. You will walk around this historic ruins you will see the palaces, bath houses, swimming pool, the oldest synagogue in the world on this mountain in the middle of the desert. After descending this mountain by cable car we continue to the shores of the Dead Sea for a “float” in the saltiest body of water in the world. Drive south to the Red Sea Resort, Eilat.

Day 9 - Monday
Today is a day of leisure in Eilat to enjoy a swim, snorkel or diving in the Red Sea which is one of the best places in the world for tropical fish and coral or take an optional tour to Petra, Jordan. Dinner and overnight at the Astral Maris Hotel, Eilat
Day 10 - Tuesday
Transfer to the Israel/Egyptian border to meet and assist through passport controls on the Egyptian side and transfer with your Egyptian guide and driver to Cairo via the picturesque Sinai Peninsula. Dinner and overnight at the Barcelo Pyramids, Cairo
MEMPHIS, SAKKARA, GIZA
Day 11 - Wednesday, MEMPHIS/SAKKARA, GIZA
Start the tour to visit the first capital of united Egypt, Memphis, here you will see the temple of Ptah, the statue of Ramses II & an alabaster Sphinx. Continue to Sakkara dominated by the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, which predate the famous Pyramids at Giza by centuries and contains exquisite paintings depicting the file and customs of the earl dynastic period. Your tour ends with a visit of the majestic Sphinx and the grandest Pyramid Chephren. Dinner and overnight at the Barcelo Pyramids, Cairo
Day 12 - Thursday
Start the tour at the famous Egyptian Museum, here we shall provide you with a brief, but colorful insights in to the five-thousand-year history of Egypt. Visit Old Cairo, St. Serguis Coptic Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue and to the Muslim Quarter sector to see the Salah El Din Citadel, followed by the Mohamed Ali Mosque and Khan El Khalili Bazaar.

Day 13 - Friday
Depart Cairo on Lufthansa at 4:20am and arriving Frankfurt at 8:45am. Depart Frankfurt at 1:50pm arriving in Toronto at 4:20pm
