Today we will visit one of the most typical streets in Puebla where we will taste some poblano candies while we get to know the most interesting places in the city. It is known for its culinary history, colonial architecture and ceramics. The painted Talavera pottery that adorns several buildings is locally made. Puebla’s Renaissance-era Cathedral has tall bell towers and stands in front of the central plaza, the Zocalo.
XOCHIMILCO & COYOACAN
Xochimilco is a World Heritage Place for it’s unique cultivation method: the chinampa. Besides, a well-known place for its colorful landscapes and party environment. Today, we will get to experience take a ride on a trajinera. We will stop at the center of Coyoacan where you can know the famous Handicraft Market and its distinguished center where we can find the famous Handicraft Market and its distinguished center.
Today we’ll start with a city tour with the entrance to Templo Mayor the heart of present-day Mexico city, contains amazing vestiges such as a tzompantli altar and the House of the Eagles. Among its treasures is the monolith of the goddess Coyolxauhqui, then we continue to the Chapultepec area where we’ll work up an appetite walking through the Museum of Anthropology, home to the famous Aztec Calendar.
Today we will start the day visiting one of the most emblematic archaeological sites in Mexico and maximum expression of the Teotihuacan culture. In addition to visiting traditional points, such as the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramids of the Moon. Continue to the Shrine of Guadalupe, built in response to Our Lady’s request to the visionary, St Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoatzin. Upon arrival at the Shrine, you will celebrate Mass as you marvel at the brilliantly colored Basilica. After Mass, join other pilgrims as you kneel in front of the “Tilma” where Our Lady’s image was miraculously imprinted.
Queretaro known for its well-preserved Spanish colonial architecture, outstanding baroque buildings include the Santa Rosa de Viterbo Church. We arrive at Guanajuato known for its silver mining history and colonial architecture. Its network of tunnels, passages and narrow streets is represented in the Callejon del Beso.
Today we are going to a stop called Funicular is a means of transportation that is mainly used in very steep places, in this case is a scenic way to climb up the hillside to the Monumento Al Pipila. Which is one of the best view points in the entire city. Guanajuato is one of the most picturesque cities in Mexico. Walk through the streets of its Historic Center & admire its incredible colonial architecture.
SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE
Today we start depart to San Miguel de Allende, a colonial era city in upper central Mexico. In the city’s historic center is the neo-gothic Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel. Return to Mexico city.
Return to Canada
After breakfast transfer to the airport for our flight back to Toronto. Evening arrival.
