Afternoon departure from Toronto via Paris to Warsaw.
Day 2 – Sep 18, 2018
Afternoon arrival. Transfer to hotel, some time for rest, Mass, dinner and overnight.
Day 3 – Sep 19, 2018
After breakfast we embark on a sightseeing tour of Warsaw that includes St. Stanislaus Kostka church, commemorating martyrdom of Bl. Jerzy Popieluszko, the Old Town, view of the Royal Palace and Barbican. Afternoon we travel to Bialystok for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 – Sep 20, 2018
This morning we celebrate Mass in Divine Mercy Sanctuary, where remains of Bl. Michał Sopoćko, the spiritual director of St. Faustina are buried. Continue to Vilnius, the capital of Lituania for dinner and overnight.
Day 5 – Sep 21, 2018
Full day in beautiful Vilnius. We visit the Old Town, Gediminias Castle, classicist Cathedral, The Gates of Dawn, world famous and the most visited shrine in Vilnius, containing the painting of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Mercy, where we celebrate Mass. Continue to the Holy Trinity Church, dedicated to Divine Mercy and St. Faustina Kowalska, where the original image of the Divine Mercy Jesus is located. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6 – Sep 22, 2018
Today we depart to Riga in Latvia. En route we stop at Hill of the Crosses in Lithuania, famous pilgrimage site with over 100,000 crosses brought by devoted pilgrims. Continue to Riga for dinner and overnight.
Day 7 – Sep 23, 2018
Our morning tour of Riga takes us to the beautifully restored mediaeval Old Town, Statue of Roland, House of Blackheads and more. Afternoon Mass, some free time for leisure, dinner and overnight.
Day 8 – Sep 24, 2018
After breakfast we depart to Tallinn, capital of Estonia. En route we stop in Pärnu – a resort city in southwestern Estonia, known for its 19th-century timber villas. Continue to Tallinn for dinner and overnight.
Day 9 – Sep 25, 2018
Full day in Tallinn. We tour its walled, cobblestoned Old Town, home to cafes and shops, as well as Kiek in de Kök, a 15th-century defensive tower, Gothic Town Hall with a 64m-high tower and St. Nicholas Church its 13th-century landmark. Mass, dinner and overnight.
Day 10 – Sep 26, 2018
Today we travel to St. Petersburg in Russia. En route we visit Narva, Estonia’s largest town, dominated by the 15th-century castle. Continue to St. Petersburg for dinner and overnight.
Day 11 – Sep 27, 2018
Our 2-day tour starts with the Peter and Paul Fortress where the last Russian tsar- Nicholas II and his family were buried here in 1998. We will also visit magnificent St Isaac’s Cathedral, Nevsky Prospect, Kazan Cathedral, the Admiralty, Palace Square, the Menshikov Palace, the Fine Arts Academy, the Bronze Horseman, Smolny Cathedral, and more. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight
Day 12 – Sep 28, 2018
Our second day takes us to the Great Palace of Catherine, The Hermitage, one of the finest and richest museums in the world displaying millions of works of art. We move on to the Church on Spilled Blood, and visit the Yusupov Palace. After Mass we return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 13 – Sep 29, 2018
After breakfast we depart to Helsinki, capital of Finland. Upon arrival dinner and overnight.
Day 14 – Sep 30, 2018
On our tour of this northern city we will visit Senate Square that boasts 19th century neoclassical buildings, a legacy of the Tsarist period, Rock Church and Sibelius Monument. Afternoon Mass and some free time for leisure. Dinner and overnight.
Day 15 – Oct 1, 2018
In the morning we are transferred to the airport for a flight via Amsterdam to Toronto. Noon arrival.
