Day 1 – May 11, 2018

Evening departure from Toronto via Paris to Lyon.

Day 2 – May 12, 2018

Morning arrival in Lyon. Upon arrival we travel to Paray-le-Monial where we visit Romanesque church of the Sacré-Coeur, a major pilgrimage destination. Continue to Macon for some rest, dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – May 13, 2018

This morning we visit famous Benedictine Abbey of Cluny. Continue to nearby Taize, a center of ecumenical movement. Later we travel to the Shrine of St. John Vianney in Ars-sur-Forman where we celebrate Mass. Continue to La Salette for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 – May 14, 2018

After breakfast we visit the Shrine Our Lady of La Salette where we celebrate Mass. Continue to Turin in Italy for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 – May 15, 2018

Full day in Turin. The walking city tour includes Piazza San Carlo, Piazza Castello, Vio Po, Royal Palace and Monte dei Cappuccini. Afternoon we visit St. John the Baptist Cathedral, where the Shroud of Turin is located. Mass, dinner and overnight.

Day 6 – May 16, 2018

Today we travel to “Cinque Terre”, one of the most picturesque places in Italy, UNESCO world heritage site. We visit the village of Riomaggiore and Manarola with spectacular views of the Italian Riviera. Continue to Florence for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 – May 17, 2018

Full day in Florence – the cradle of Renaissance and the capital city of Tuscany. Our guided tour takes us to the Basilica of Santa Maria Del Flore, the famous Ponte Vecchio, Piazza Signoria and the Church of Santa Croce. Some free time for shopping, dinner and overnight.

Day 8 – May 18, 2018

After breakfast we travel to Venice. En route we stop in Padua where we celebrate Mass in the basilica dedicated to St. Anthony. Dinner and overnight in Venice.

Day 9 – May 19, 2018

Full day in Venice. We relish the sights and sounds of this serene city including canal cruise by motor launch to St. Mark’s Square. We view the bridge of Sighs and Doge’s Palace and celebrate Mass in St. Mark`s basilica. Then some free time for shopping before our return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 10 – May 20, 2018

Today we travel to Vienna, the capital of Austria. En route we visit mediaeval cathedral in Maria Saal where we celebrate Mass. Continue to Vienna for dinner and overnight.

Day 11 – May 21, 2018

Our tour of Vienna takes us to St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the Opera and the Schonbrunn Palace. In the afternoon some free time for leisure or shopping. Dinner and overnight. In the evening an optional concert.

Day 12 – May 22, 2018

In the morning we are transferred to the airport for our flight back to Toronto. Afternoon arrival.
