Arrive in Beijing , the capital and cultural centre of the world’s most populous nation. Meet with your friendly guide and transfer to a deluxe hotel for rest.
Nov 08
Full day tour of Beijing. Visit Tiananman Square, the largest public plaza in the world, and the Forbidden City where two dozen emperors once resided and now houses numerous priceless treasures. In the afternoon, continue your tour to the Temple of Heaven. In the evening, enjoy a fabulous Peking Roast Duck Banquet. Back to hotel for rest or attend an optional energetic show – “Legend of Kung-fu” on your own. (B/L/D).

This morning, we’ll have an opportunity to shop at the largest Jade Center of Asia. Then continue a trip to the Great Wall – one of the wonders of the world, a symbol of Chinese traditional culture. After lunch, see skilled artisans at work at a Cloisonne Factory. Then take motor coach to the Ming Tombs and visit the Spirit Way of Ming Tombs. Back to city, walk along the New Qianmen Street and have a outside view of the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube built for the 2008 Olympics. In the evening attend an optional musical “The Golden Mask Dynasty” (extra fee). (B/L).

In the morning tour to the exquisite Summer Palace, the largest ancient preserved garden in China, with a boat ride on Lake Kunming (weather permitting). A shopping visit to a China Medical Science Academy followed by lunch. Visit the Panda house in Beijing Zoo. Afternoon free to explore the city by yourself. You may choose to join the optional Experience the Hutong Life Tour by a pedi-cab, plus a visit to a local family and a local market; or just pace yourself in the Wang-fu-jing Street, the best place to capture the historical and modern cultures of Beijing. Dinner on your own. (B/L).

Today we fly to historic Xian, ancient capital of China and site of archaeological treasures. Upon arrival in Xian, your fi¬rst stop will be at the Buddhist Jianfu Temple with panoramic views of the city. Special dinner of the Imperial Dumpling Banquet, followed by a splendid Tang Dynasty Stage Show.(B/D).

Today’s excursion will take us to China’s greatest archaeological discovery – The Terracotta Warriors and Horses, guarding silently the tomb of China’s first emperor for over 2,200 years. Our visit to the Terracotta Replication Factory will show how the terracotta soldiers are re-made. Later we board a plane to Chongqing, the picturesque “Mountain City”. (B/L)

We visit the Chongqing Zoo to see the lovable giant pandas. Afternoon stop at Chongqing Flying Tigers Museum, as well as the Ciqikou Old Town (ancient Porcelain Village), which is a famous attraction for porcelain production during the Ming and Qing dynasty. End the day by boarding the cruise to begin the highly anticipated Yangtze River cruise adventure.(B).

The first optional shore excursion will be ‘Ghost City’ Fengdu, which contains numerous statues of devils and ghosts that roam the Chinese afterworld. Fengdu, built over 1800 years ago, was modeled after the Chinese Hell in Taoist mythology. Then we will visit Shibao Village. In the evening, join the Captain’s welcome dinner party.(B/L/D).

After optional visit to Baidi City, we sail through Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge. Disembark at Wushan where we board small riverboat for a leisurely ride through Shennong Stream. The ship then sails through Xiling Gorge, the longest one of the Three Gorges. We will pass through the ship-lock of the new three gorges dam. (B/L/D)

In the morning we disembark to visit the massive Three Gorges Dam Project. The world’s largest dam, measuring 606 feet high and 6,500 feet long was completed in 2003. Disembark at Yichang and continue our journey to Shanghai. Upon arrival we are transferred to Suzhou by coach. (B)
Nov 17
Suzhou is also known as “Venice of the East” as a large area of the city is covered by water. Today we’ll visit Lingering Garden, one of the four famous classical Chinese gardens, one of UNESCO World Heritage sites. After that we’ll head for the Suzhou Silk Spinning Factory to learn Chinese silk culture. (B/L)

Hangzhou was considered as the world’s most enchanting city by Marco Polo. Today, we’ll begin our fabulous Hangzhou tour with a visit to West Lake with boat ride. After that, tour the Hangzhou Longjing Tea Farm to taste the fragrant tea and experience the mysterious Chinese tea culture. Take the coach back to Shanghai, the largest city by population in China. The highlights of today’s sightseeing include Old Street, Nanjing Road, the famous Bund. We visit a Silk Spinning Mill with an opportunity for unique shopping. Then step back in time at the Shanghai Museum with more than 120,000 art objects. Our farewell dinner this evening will be a banquet of delicious Shanghai cuisine. In the evening, we may join an optional “Night Cruise on the Huangpu River” (extra fee) (B/L/D)

Today is free for leisure or last minutes shopping. You can cap offthe celebrations by attending a thrilling optional Chinese acrobatic show – “ERA – Intersection of Time” (extra fee). (B)
