Day 2 ~ Monday
Arrive at Ben Gurion International Airport at 10:15am and meet your guide. Before going to the hotel, you will make a brief stop in the old city of Jaffa which affords a breath-taking view of the ancient seaport, and the modern city of Tel Aviv located on the Mediterranean Sea. At this picturesque port city of winding alleys, art galleries, and craft boutiques, King Solomon had cedars from Lebanon rafted for the building of the first Temple in Jerusalem. View the location of the House of Simon the Tanner and a beautiful view overlooking Tel Aviv. Then board the bus and drive to the Grand Beach Hotel for check-in, dinner, and balance of day at leisure. Check In and overnight and dinner at Grand Beach Tel Aviv

Day 3 ~ Tuesday
After Breakfast and check out, drive north through the Plain of Sharon, along the Mediterranean shore, on the old coastal route which linked Egypt and Babylon. Stop at Caesarea, the Roman capital boasting the largest port in the Mediterranean, built by King Herod the Great. Here Pontius Pilate had his seat; Cornelius lived and was baptized (Acts 10); Paul embarked to Tarsus (Acts 9:30) and Philip preached (Acts 8:40). Visit the Roman Theatre, the Hippodrome, and the new exhibit in the Crusader City. Continue north to Mt. Carmel and view the area where Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal at the summit, known as Muhraka. Stop at Megiddo, to visit one of King Solomon’s fortified, city kingdoms (1 Kings 9:15; 10:26), with impressive ruins of 21 levels of civilization. Continue to the hotel in Tiberias. Check In and dinner at Leonardo hotel ~ Tiberias

Visit sites central to Jesus’ Ministry – starting the day sailing on the Sea of Galilee, with time for meditation and prayer to Kibbutz Ginnosar and visit the famous, ancient fishing vessel, from the time of Jesus and learn about its discovery. Continue to Kfar Nahum, Capernaum centre of Jesus’ Ministry in the Galilee and the site of many of his miracles (Mark 2:4; Matt.8:5-7 &14-15). See the remains of St Peter’s mother in-law’s house and the ancient synagogue, where Jesus taught and worshipped (Mark 1:21; Luke 4:31). Then stop at the church of the “feeding of the multitude” in Tabgha. Stop at Magdala, the village of Mary Magdalene, to visit the new archeological discovery and the very synagogue that Mary Magdalene would have worshipped in. Continue to the Mt. of Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered “The Sermon on the Mount” (Matt.5). Drive north on the Golan Heights. Stop to visit Chorazin, one of the three villages Jesus prophesied over, for not accepting his teaching. Stop to visit Banias, one of the sources of the Jordan River, site of ancient “Caesarea Philippi,” where Peter made his confession of faith in Christ (Matt. 16:16) . Return to the hotel for dinner. Start the day with a visit to Yardenit, for Baptism in the Jordan River. Stop on Mt. Arbel, for a great view of the area of Jesus’ Ministry in the Galilee. Drive to Cana (site of Jesus’ first miracle; visit the Franciscan and Greek churches). Proceed to Nazareth, the boyhood town of Jesus. Visit Nazareth Village depicting a village from the time of Jesus. Continue southward viewing Mt. Tabor the site of the transfiguration to Beit Shean, where will walk through the incredible excavations of the largest ongoing archaeological dig in the land of Israel with its Roman Theatre, colonnaded Roman streets, mosaics and roman bathhouses. It is also the city where the body of King Saul and his sons were nailed to the walls by the Philistines (1 Samuel 31:10). Then Drive through the Jordan Valley, where the desert now blooms with flowers and vegetation of every description (Isaiah 35: 1-2). Ascend the Judean Wilderness to the Golden City of Jerusalem. Check In and dinner at Royal hotel ~ Jerusalem

Get an early start on the Mt of Olives, with an outstanding view the city and the Temple Mount. Follow in the footsteps of Jesus and the Galileans, walk down the Mount via Dominus Flevit to visit Gethsemane - the Church of All Nations. With time for contemplation and prayer in the adjacent Olive Garden. From here, we proceed by bus across the Kidron Valley, to Mt. Zion to visit the Church of the Last Supper, the upper room and St Peter in Gallicantu, site of Peter’s denial of the Lord Jesus. Walk to the Zion Gate and enter the Old City. Continue through the Suk (market) and walk along the Via Dolorosa to visit the Pools of Bethesda where Jesus healed the paralytic man, St. Anne’s Church. Chapel of the Flagellation and Pilates Judgment Hall. End at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Enjoy the ancient alleyways of the Old City, then a short drive to Bethlehem to visit the Church of Nativity, the birthplace of Jesus and the oldest church in the Holy Land. End the day at the Garden Tomb, remember the resurrection, with time for prayer and communion. Overnight and dinner at Royal hotel ~ Jerusalem

After Breakfast, travel south to the Dead Sea. Visit Masada - ruins of King Herod’s mountaintop fortress and last stronghold of the Jewish revolt against Rome 73 A.C.E. (Ascend and descend by cable car). View Ein Gedi oasis, where David fled the wrath of King Saul. And a little farther north, view Qumran, where a Bedouin discovered the Dead Sea scrolls in a nearby cave. Enjoy a unique experience “float” in the Dead Sea – you cannot sink! Return to Jerusalem for dinner. Overnight and dinner at Royal hotel ~ Jerusalem

Continue to the Jerusalem Archaeological Park (Southern Wall Excavations) including the very same ancient steps that Jesus and the Galilean pilgrims used to enter and exit the Holy Temple. Stop at the Western Wall (Kotel), an important Jewish prayer site, then walk back in time under the city, through Western Wall Tunnel Excavations. Continue to Yad Vashem to pay respect to the victims of the Shoah (Holocaust), The National Memorial and Museum of the Shoah. Visit to include the Museum and the Children’s’ Memorial. Continue to the Israel Museum, to visit a - the Model of Jerusalem; learn about the city from the time of Jesus; and b - the adjacent Shrine of the Book, home of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Finish the day at Genesis Land including a camel ride. Overnight and dinner at Royal hotel ~ Jerusalem

Enjoy a farewell dinner in the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the Royal Hotel, Jerusalem

DOCUMENTATION:
Please ensure that you are in possession of a Canadian Passport valid for at least 6 months after your arrival in Israel. If you have a passport from another country, it is your responsibility to inquire at the Israeli Consulate if a Visa is required.
Starting from January 1, 2025, tourists, coming to Israel from countries exempt from a visa, will be required to fill out the ETA-IL form before arriving in Israel.
A tourist who will not have a completed form will not be able to check-in and board the flight.

PAYMENTS:
International Heritage Tours requires a deposit of $400 per person immediately, which is refundable 90 days before departure (November 23, 2025) less $200 administration fee. FORCE MAJEURE:
In no event shall the Agency be liable for any failure to perform its obligations or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay is due to events beyond its control which prevents the performance of its obligations, including without limitation, nuclear or environmental catastrophes; natural disasters and extreme weather conditions; war, invasion, or similar hostilities; rebellion, revolution, insurrection; riots or civil unrest; strikes, lockouts and labour action; acts or threats of terrorism; epidemic, pandemic, or spread of disease; Acts of State or governmental restrictions; and loss or prolonged interruption of necessary utilities, communications or computer services. The customer acknowledges that the Agency, on behalf of the customer and anyone for whom the customer requests the Agency make travel arrangements, will forward funds to independent third-party travel suppliers, and that once forwarded, these funds may not be recovered and/or refunded. Where a force majeure event has occurred, performance of the Agency’s obligations shall be suspended for the duration of the force majeure event, and the Agency shall perform its obligations when it is possible to do so. In any event, the liability of the Agency arising out of force majeure event shall not exceed amounts paid directly by the customer or anyone for whom customer requests the Agency make travel arrangements, to the Agency, and the Agency shall not be liable for any consequential or indirect damages or legal costs incurred by any party. In such Force Majeure cases a cash refund might not be offered, however the Agency may opt to offer the customer a future travel credit for the value of the tour.
